What is the dress code?
We'd love for our guests to dress in mountain cocktail attire! No need for tuxedos or formal gowns, but we kindly ask that you leave the jeans at home. Think dresses, jumpsuits, dress pants, button-down shirts, and suits or sport coats. Dress to celebrate and dance the night away with us!
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Our ceremony will take place outdoors with beautiful views of the Adirondack Mountains! The reception will be held inside the barn, which has open sides, so we'll still get to enjoy that fresh mountain air. Please dress accordingly, as temperatures can cool down in the evening!
What should I pack?
June in the Adirondacks typically brings beautiful days and cooler evenings. Since our ceremony is outdoors and our reception barn has open sides, we recommend bringing a light jacket or sweater. Comfortable shoes are also a good idea for walking on the property. And don't forget your camera because the mountain views are gorgeous! You'll also want some comfortable walking shoes if you plan on hiking or walking around town.
Are children invited?
While we love your little ones, due to space limitations at our venue, we are only able to accommodate children of immediate family members who are specifically included on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can enjoy a fun night out celebrating with us!
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation will not be provided to or from the venue, so we kindly ask that guests make their own arrangements. We recommend having a car during your stay and/or carpooling with others, as rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft can be limited in the area.
Where should I stay?
There are plenty of wonderful accommodations in Wilmington and nearby Lake Placid! We've included some recommendations in the Travel section of our website as well as hotel block information. Since our wedding falls on Father's Day weekend, we encourage guests to book early!
